Calculator inputs and results

The calculators run in your browser. The calculator code does not send the values you enter to an application server or save them in an account or database. No account or credit information is requested to use the tools.

If you choose “Share results,” the site creates a link with your calculator inputs in its URL so the values can be restored when that link is opened. Anyone who receives the link can see those values. URLs may also be retained in your browser history and in technical logs for systems that handle the request. Share a link only with people you trust.

When you download a CSV, the file is created in your browser and saved through your browser’s download feature. The site does not receive the downloaded file.

Technical information about visits

To deliver the website, the hosting or content delivery provider may process technical request information such as your IP address, the page or asset requested, the time of the request, and browser or device details. The provider controls its own infrastructure logs and retention. Production pages also use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Y3C0BRCR1Q) to measure page views and general site usage. The Analytics page URL and referrer omit query strings, so calculator amounts in shared links are not included in those fields. Google may process analytics information under its own policies; see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar browser storage for measurement. The site also saves your selected theme in local storage; calculator values are not saved there. The site does not set advertising cookies. Your browser may keep shared links in its history or downloaded CSV files on your device.

Email and links to other websites

If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can review and reply to your request. Your email provider also handles the message under its own policies. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information.

This site links to external resources. When you follow one of those links, the destination website’s privacy policy and practices apply.

Changes and questions
